Brogoku had made a post on different genes for Saiyans you can find here. And I have to say, I half like these ideas. One big thing tho, Giving Vegeta genes an Ultra Super Saiyan sounds really useless; you describe that gene's fighting style as "being out of the fight", so Ultra SSJ sounds really counter productive. There's some other stuff I disliked (like Giji), but you'll get the idea when you read on.
Keep in mind when I say something is "stronger than" something else, this is me assuming the game's power ups and transformations (like Kaioken or Super Saiyan), raise your stats by a % (in the same vein as how Bleach: Las Noches/Soul Elysium does it), so when I say "stronger" I really just mean a higher % boost.
Here's my spin on your suggestion: I think Saiyans should be able to pick between the 3 genes. Goku's would be more melee-centric, Vegeta's would be focused more on blasts, and the LSSJ gene would be focused on AoE blasts AND melee techs. So kind of a mix, really.
Broly: Some low range but high powered projectiles that have AoE explosions at the end of their arc, and some strength based techs that grapple or smash the enemy with high knockback. Can only achieve 2 transformations, SSJ and LSSJ. Cannot transform into an Oozaru nor can it use any learnable boosts like Kaioken, and cannot have their Potential unlocked.
Goku: Mainly melee techs but unlike the Broly gene these techs are based on multi hit attacks, with very few that knock you back. This gene's blasts have a minor knockback on hit (this only applies to non-spammable blasts like Kamehameha for example in case low cd techs like Ki Blasts can be used). Access to SSJ/2/3/4, and moderate boost while using Kaioken (whether it be a buff to stats or to techniques used can be debated).
Vegeta: Mainly blast techs, but unlike the Broly gene, these techs are based on many long range, piercing projectiles of varying width. For ex. Galick Gun would be 1 tile, Big Bang Attack would be 3 tiles, and something like Super Energy Wave Volley would instead of shooting multiple blasts, be a 2 tile blast (like a 3 tile, but remove the middle one). Access to SSJ/2/4, and a moderate boost while using Majin (whether it be a buff to stats or to techniques can be debated).
Note: While Goku/Vegeta genes gain so many power-ups, the actual stat power boost between each one is only slightly better than the last. The goal is to look at SSJ as an incomplete SSJ4. So there isn't too much of a difference between 1 and 2, but if you look at the gap from 1 and 4, it's definitely noticeable. However, the differences between the 3 genes are greater than just the fighting style; Vegeta's SSJ2 is stronger than Goku's SSJ2 while not being quite as strong as SSJ3, and Broly's SSJ is as strong as Goku's SSJ2. All 3 of their final boosts are equally as strong as each other (Broly's LSSJ can be a bit stronger if you want it tho).
